2009 UOAA National Conference

Events start the evening of the 5th (Wednesday)

First Night Opening – “A Sweet Taste of New Orleans” sponsored by Hollister.

Thursday Night - a Gala sponsored by ConvaTec.

The general UOAA programming will include, among other things...

- Ostomy Workshops
- Exhibit Hall with the best selection of product manufacturers and providers you'll find anywhere
- Sessions regarding diagnosis and/or age-specific networks, among many other topics
- A session geared for first timers
- A Hollister Networking Social on Wednesday night
- A ConvaTec Gala on Thursday night
- A closing session and banquet on Saturday night, so plan your travel accordingly

Along with the general programming, YODAA & 20/40 will have its own programming, to include, but not limited to:

- YODAA & 20/40 Leadership and Organizational Sharing Session
- YODAA & 20/40 Networking Social Event and Dinner (Friday Night)
- Diagnosis-specific Rap Sessions
- Sexuality and Dating
- Pregnancy
- Adoption Options
- Exercise
- A session just for spouses, significant others, and caregivers
- A keynote motivational speaker

In addition to workshops of interest to all, there will be special programming for those attending their first conference, children and their parents, teens, young adults, 30+, and those with continent diversions.

There will be a fashion show and of course an Exhibition Hall featuring all of the major ostomy product manufacturers and distributors.

Registration is $90, but it is possible to volunteer and be reimbursed for some of your registration, based on the number of hours you volunteer at the conference (please contact Eric Eng at yodaa@uoaa.org regarding this). Or, if you prefer, you may download and print a hard-copy registration form
