About Me.
Alright so i thought i would update this since i havent been on in awhile. I'm 19 years old, I use to have an ileostomy. I had it for about a year I tried to have it reversed in may 0f 2009 but ran into problems so i had another ileostomy, i then reversed that one July 2009. Five years ago I was diagnosed with FAP which stands for Familial adenomatous polyposis. I got FAP from my mother, she has a J-pouch since 2004. My older sister also has FAP but she only has a couple of polyps so she doesn't have to worry right now. My journey started June 20,2008, I had my first surgery. I had my colon removed. After a couple of weeks I kept getting sick and was in and out of the hospital. Finally i got the ileostomy. I had another surgery last month to reverse but I didnt heal righ, so I had to start over. My next surgery is July 29,2009.
I'm going to start school in Jan of 2010. Going to become an RN. Then I'm going to start taking special classes so that I can become a colorectal nurse. After my schooling I'm moving with my parents down to tennessee so that I will be closer to the St. Jude's hosptial so I can take care of the kids that are dealing with cancer.
I also love music. and being with my dog sthar
